I Was Just Trying To Keep The Cops On Their Tows

I have to give Oneil N. Swaby a few points for creativity, and I also have to wonder how it is that more people haven't thought ofthis.And yes, because it's kind of stupid is a fair answer.

According to a release from Hillside police Lt. Vincent Ricciardi, Oneil N. Swaby, 21, first tried to steal a blue 1998 Acura Integra Wednesday morning from the parking lot of a Long Avenue convenience store. When the attempt failed, Swaby, posing as the vehicle’s owner, called a tow truck to have the car transported to his Irvington residence.

It didn't take long for police to find him and his new car at said Irvington residence, and he now resides at the Union County Jail until somebody comes up with the $20,000 required to tow him home.
