Goodbye Good Samaritans

Is it really a good idea to ok lawsuits against good samaritans who happen to inadvertently injure you in the process of saving your life? with all the sue-happy folks out there, we'll have people refusing to help somebody for fear they'll get sued later. I mean, being a good samaritan shouldn't give someone license to be wreckless, but personally, I'd rather be alive and perhaps a little more injured than the alternative, burned to death in a car because people were afraid to pull me from the smoking vehicle for fear they might injure me and I could sue them later. This whole thing smells like trouble, and will make people even less willing to help than they already are.
