Somebody help me to understand what this man hoped would happen.

An unnamed 62-year-old man holds a sledding party every year, and always does crazy things. This year, the crazy thing was strapping an improvised rocket to his back and then taking off with a sled. I guess he thought he would fly. Instead, he gave himself some pretty good burns to his face and an eye injury.

Yeah, because a motorcycle muffler full of matches and gasoline will make you look like Superman. Um nope.
